"Schäfers Weg", translated, means Shepherd's Way.

​

​We chose this name for a couple of reasons.  First, our desire is to produce shepherd dogs that have solid character, sound temperament and strong working ability.  The other, and more important, reason for choosing this name is that we want to follow in the way of the good Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.​
